We visit here every fishing season and it did not disappoint once again! It's rustic and cute inside, perfect for a little fishing town. It's always busy, but that's a sign of good food and service! Crab cocktails: amazing! Generous portion and good cocktail sauce! Steamer clams: yummy! Crab cakes: a little small but tasty! Clam chowder: thick, creamy, clammy just the way it should be! Fish and chips: fresh fish, lightly battered, fresh crispy yet fluffy and tender fries! Good tartar sauce too. Dinner salad: lots of toppings and good dressing! Cocktails good! Even the price isn't bad for everything we ate: $60/person for fresh seafood and good service is not too much to ask these days. Look forward to visiting again in September!

There was 8 of us and everyone enjoyed their dinner. Three of us had the fish and chips...It had a very nice portion of fish in each fillet..loved. One had the club sandwich, one had the steak sandwich, one had grilled ham and cheese and two had their burgers ....all said was very good. The server was friendly and gave us great service. We will be back again next year.

Clam chowder is the best! Topped off with fresh marionberry pie and ice cream you can't go wrong! Wonderful service too!

This place always delivers! This is a toss up between the Mates Favorite, or the Bacon Cheeseburger! Cheeseburger usually wins! Service is always spot on! Buoy 9 never fails to stay consistent and provide great food and service!

Astoria has so many amazing eateries, yet we always, ALWAYS visit Buoy 9 when we come to the coast. The staff is incredibly personable and efficient, and the food is so yummy! Can't forget the cocktails, they're simply delightful! We also love the cozy, clean environment. Can't say enough about this place, we just love it!

Loved the fish and chips! Husband had the prime rib and absolutely loved it. We will definitely be back.

Good seafood chowder and halibut fish! It's expensive, no doubt but it hits the spot every time. So are their specials, personally I would skip the rest :) Service is fast and local style friendly. Ambiance, well we tend to stay in the bar side because there's multiple TVs usually tuned to sports and you can gawk at the video game players without spending a dime yourself. The best part though: The drink pours are a good size! Plenty of parking for trailers, trucks, boats, and dogs that have to stay in the shade. They open early too- for the crabbing and fishing adventurers.
